Saturday 7th of April Division One Preview
Warminster Town has a home tie against high flying and top of the league, Roman Glass St. George. Interestingly, "The Glass" is the oldest club in Bristol, founded in 1872. It would be good if you are able to come along and cheer the Red & Blacks who are in great need of points. Bring a friend too and let them have a taste of local football. It's great value for a Saturday afternoon out!
The other top of the league teams are also in action, with second-placed Westbury United away at Chard Town. Meanwhile, third-placed Keynsham Town has a home game against Calne Town.
At the bottom of the table, fellow strugglers, Portishead Town are playing at home against six-placed Welton Rovers, and Warminster will be hoping for a Welton victory who are currently in sixth place. Three from the bottom, Sherborne Town host eighth-placed Chippenham Park and with Sherborne in fine goalscoring form this should be an interesting match to keep an eye on.
